Access UK is a new digital visa application service for foreign visitors to the UK. The service was introduced to customers in China in 2014 by the Home Office, enabling them to apply for visitor visas online.
Following the successful launch, the service has now been made available in over 180 countries and in 10 languages for customers wanting to apply to visit the UK.
So far, over half a million visitor visa applications have been made through the new service.
Access UK means visa customers can:
* Make quicker applications using an intuitive online form.
* Use easy-to-follow steps, which list the documents required for the application.
* Apply using any mobile device.
The service will become available to a further 13 lower volume locations over the coming weeks.
Access UK will replace the Visa4UK website, as part of the Home Office’s commitment to making it more convenient, quicker and easier for customers to apply for visas and without compromising the quality of the service.
